They are very expensive, but my dog loves Dr. LaPierre. He is the only reason why I am still going there. Be sure to check your bill before leaving, because they have charged me for medications that were never given to me.
Long story short, they've killed 2 of my pets over the years. Never going back.
Very disappointed with this practice. Had taken my beagle here from the time she was a puppy until she was about 4 years old. She had frequent problems with her anal glands, so I took her to get them expressed, as I regularly needed to every few months. However, this time, her itching/scratching symptoms only got worse. Took her back the next day, only to be told "oh well they were infected when she was here yesterday." Highly upset that they didn't tell me the previous day, and was charged for a full exam! This was my push to switch her to a new vet. Was given attitude when I requested her vaccination records. Customer service is definitely lacking, at least at the Mifflintown office.
Like to send a huge thank you to Dr. LaPierre and the entire staff at Pleasant View. After a very serious and extended infection, my cat, Oscar is healthy again. Everyone at the clinic was awesome. After every visit someone would always follow up a couple days later to see how he was doing. Guarantee I will be a loyal client from now on.
They only care about money, not our pets!!
